Monumental project in the “Quartier Maritime”
The challenge
This project includes the installation of our Invisible Airco solution without an outdoor unit in a monumental building in Brussels. The challenge within this project is recognizable to many: creating a comfortable indoor climate using air conditioning in a building where it is not possible to connect an air conditioner with an outdoor unit.
This concerns a beautiful apartment with art-deco influences, where the preservation of the historical character was of crucial importance. Making an opening in the outer wall was not permitted.
During the renovation project, all the preparatory work (including installing pipes) was carried out in collaboration with the contractor. The result is a complete “Invisible” air conditioning solution that perfectly matches the aesthetic character of the apartment.

Our solution
The central unit is installed in the technical room. This is linked to two built-in units. One of these built-in units is placed above the custom-made wardrobe in the bedroom, while the other is located in the walk-in closet of the office.
Both built-in units are finished with luxury grilles, which not only provides a refined appearance, but also ensures optimum air distribution.
A comfortable and pleasant indoor climate has been created in both the bedroom and the office.
